Leaving Jesus (2024)

I did some additional writing on this documentary about a group of former Christian fundamentalists transitioning back into secular society.  It was directed by Ellen Fiske and produced by Momento Film. The film premiered in competition at Göteborg Film Festival 2024, was nominated for a Tempo Documentary Award 2024 and won Best Feature Length Documentary at Edinburgh Docufest 2024. A rough cut screened in the Scandinavian Showcase at Cannes Docs in 2022. It was released theatrically in Sweden in April 2024.
